BDE Rabbi Rodal was my 6th grade teacher at yeshiva of Pittsburgh. This was the best school year of my life. He always had these educational trips, random farm excursions, going to Johnstown to learn about the flood and then go to a hockey game there. A little trip to see the Steelers and talk with Bill Cowher. These weren’t the only good things, he always had jokes, was strict in keeping a focused classroom but was nice and not yelling to do so. It is with great sadness to hear this news and wish my condolences to the whole Rodal family.
