Rabbi Rodal was a chameleon. When he was playing with his students, he really was one of the boys. When he returned to the classroom, he became their Rebbe.

In the Talmud, the sages talk about two sets of language–regular conversation and Torah conversation. Regular conversation is known as “mili d’alma.”

Rabbi Rodal was a master teacher and role model. As such, he only spoke “mili d’KIDusha!”
