Yisroel Meir munitz

Here’s a Rabbi Rodal story I tell me students every year.
Once there was a man who only had a head. Every morning, he would roll out of bed, down the block and across the street to the local bar. The bartender would set him up with a beer and a straw. “Oh how I wish I had hands”, he would sigh.”At least I would be able to drink my beer properly”.
The next morning he woke up and POOF! He had hands! He was so excited he walked on his hands all the way to the bar. Now he could drink without a straw. Still he sighed, “If only I had a body I could sit on a stool like a regular human”.
The next morning, POOF! He had a body! He was extatic! He hurried on his new hands down the block, across the street and into the bar. Now he could sit on a stool, drink without a straw and join the crowd. Yet he sighed again. “If only I had feet, then I could walk like a normal person. Then everything would finally be great”.
The next morning, POOF! Yes, he had feet! Overjoyed, he ran out of the house, down the block , into the street….in his excitement he forgot to look. He was hit by a car and died.
Moral of the story? Quit while your a head!
